CHINA SEA DANGERS.

THREE TYPHOONS IN ONE WEEK.

Latest Strikes An Island.

There are still two typhoons at large in the southern part of the China Sea, the one that disappeared inland between Swatow and Amoy having been replaced by another. This third typhoon has brought disaster in its train, the unlucky place being Naha Island, one of the southerly Lu, Chu (or Riu Kia) group lying between Japan and Formosa. Believed to be bigger than the one for which the local signals are being displayed, this third typhoon is materially responsible for the unsettled weather in the Hongkong area. although the presence of two typhoons at the same time, has undoubtedly aggravated local conditions.
