A Rumour.
I hear (says Daily Chronicie writer) that Princess Mary is look- ing forward to a happy event in the latter part of the summer. She is accepting no public engagements before the Autumn, Raboy's Plum Joke,
Prince Henry was in a box at the Hippodrome the other night, enjoying Leap Year, the new Wylle-Tate revue (says the Star.) He had evidently forgot all about his spill of a week ago. Not a Joke from Robey escaped him, even when our, thousand-a-week comediany as he festingly called himself, asked if it was generally! known that the King liked plums, and added that his owo anthem reminds us to send hin Victorias,"

The Princes and Golf.
Although the Prince of Wales has been captain of the Royal and Ancient Club, his brother, the Duke of York, is much more interested in golf as a game remarks the Star. The Duke of York is the captain-elect of the Richmond Golf Club, whose course is at Sudbrooke' Park, a club which distinguished itself by black-balling Lord Swaything the banker,, when he was put up for
Duke membership. The
often comes across from White Lodge to have a round, and the. Duchess, equally keen, is taking lessons from G. T. Harris, the club professional.
