Spooky hands, secret panels, shadows, and darting figures are all there, the hum orous relief being provided by two actors in the part of servants There is also a big storm scene, Mr. Griffith having evidently found irresistible the temptation to throw in just one big thrill.
The plot is wrapped in mystery, and the only way to get it is to visit the theatre, it is advised.
