The Stock Exchange Committee announces that it has learned that unless certain special declarations are signed by the presenter of coupons and bonds, the Chinese Government declines to pay either in terest or principal to the holders of bonds issued in Germany of Chinese "fives" (1896), "four and a halfa" (1898), and Hu Kuang's "fives" (1911). The Committee has informed the agents that unless the issue of such bonds are carried out in full they will not in future grant a quotation for any new issue. Further, unless satisfactory answers are received it will take into consideration the removal from the dally official list of such of the loans already quoted as contain bonds whose coupons have not been met in accordance with the terms of lasue. A similar warning has been issued in respect of the London Issue of Rumaniao "four and a halfs (1913).
