There was scarcely a vacant seat at the Victoria Recreation- Club yesterday afternoon when the Queen's College annual aquatie Oot. sports were held.
· Among those present were the 115 Hon. Mr. E. Irving (Director of 24 Education) and Mr. E. Ralphs 412 (Inspector of English Schools).

The various races were keenly con- 121 tested. The team race, open to all 74 schools in the Colony, provided a very exciting finish, the Queen's 1,193 College, team just succeeding 9,478 in defeating St. Joseph's 784 College. Queen's College have
