THE two undermentioned guilds beg to announce that the prices hitherto charged have re mained the same for years. Owing to the increased cost of living all manufacturers, stores and workmen are reluctantly compelled to raise their prices. At a meeting of employers and employees it was un- animously agreed that prices of goods be increased by ten per cent. and that workmen's wages be raised by seventeen per cent. This was ratified by the delegates appointed to the meeting.
