The Army Air Service is doing much in the fight againt the dreaded holl weevil, which manually destroys millions in cotton crops ja the South. Acroplanes, equipped with a special apparatus for dis- charging a poisonous dust, fly over the infected fields. The dust, deadly to the bull weevil without injur- ing the cotton, exterminates the pest. One of the planes is shown scattering the prison.
