The first fatality directly due to the Marathon dancing craze occurred at North Tonawanda, in the State of New York.
Henry Morehouse, 27, dropped dead as he walked off the floor with his partner after having completed 87 hours' continuous dancing.
Death was due to heart failure. Morehouse began dancing on Sunday evening, at a country club, for a wager.
