RUMOURED JARRED
SHOULDER.
LONDON, June 1. Following a drop in the Derby favourite Town Guard's price last evening from 4 to 1 to 5 to 1'it was rumoured that he had a jarred shoulder which is apparently based on the fact that he was unexercised on Thursday and confined to healthy exercise this morning when he walked soundly.
He will probably resume work to-morrow as the fact that his owner Lord Woolavington released Donoghue from riding his second string Knockando suggests there is not much the matter with Town
Guard.
