VOICE GONE.

PREMIER'S HEALTH UNCERTAIN.

LONGER HOLIDAY }.

LONDON, May 18.

Harley Street specialists have visited Mr. Bonar

Law who is spending a few days, in Paris, follow- ing his stay at Aixles Bains.

Increased anxiety

is felt regarding his health and political future. His general health is very satis factory, but reports agree that his voice is very little im proyed.

It is believed the specialists advised * him to make a con- siderable extension of his holiday,"but hitherto there has been no indication of his plans.

The. Paris press states that the loss of his voice has been so complete that he has been obliged to decline M. Poin- care's invitation to luncheon.

[Mr. Bonar Law's health became so poor that it was freely rumoured he intended resigning. That report was, however, officially denied last week.]

PARIS, May 19.

Mr. Bonar Law has decided not to issue a state- ment at present regarding his health or future plans, as he considers such action would later lead to the issue of endless dementis.
