TOURNAMENT.

During the week-end, the finals and semi-finals of the Confucius Society billiards handicap tour nament were played off. Mr. S. K. Kwok, who is one of the best known of Chinese cueists in the Colony and who gave Mr. A. J. Osmund a very close match in the last V.R.C tournament, won the tournament' from the back mark, scratch. Ind the final he defeated Mr.CL. Tsang (rec. 20) the scores reading. 500-408. During the tournament, Mr. Kwok made an abnormal numi-. ber of breaks of over 50.

Tonight the first round of the will championship tournament commence at the society's head- quarters.
