According to the new tables, the moon is 30 miles an hour nearer than it was according to the old," said Dr. A. C. D. Crommelin, of Greenwich Observatory. "It is not in actuality, as the moon is very slowly going farther from the earth, but the new tables are more accurate.--Professor-Brown has also found out many
