Prehistoric remains have been found in the Flines Cave, Wayne County, Ky., scientists of the University of Kentucky. A succession of ash latke at various levels indicate that the cave was occupied by Indians in different stages of civilization. Near the ash banks wern found owis, pipes, needles and skinning knives. Eight or nine skeletons were found, all being buried with the knees doubled up and the heads turned to one side, as was the Indian custom.
