The Chib players were in extra gead form on Saturday afternoon when they scored a decisive victory over the smart Tamar XI by 3 goals to nil There was little to choose between the forward lines, and the Club players did not have things all their own way, but when it came to the defence, the Club was far superior in this department nad successfully kept the Sailors out, although eeveral times they were bard pressed. Lock alas favoured the Clab, for the Sailors sent in very pretty shots which At the all but entered one. "Tamar's" end of the field, a brauti fal centre from England went braging. Off-side play spoiled two other open- ings, and then Forsyth mad the corner of the net from a fine pass by Furves on the wing. The Sailors continued to experience bat luck in the second ball.
