Mr. Chao Hain-chu, interviewed by Reuter on his return from Goneva, expressed the Chineas delegation's satisfaction with the ro-election of China B & Don permanent member of the Council of the League, which was partly due to the delegation's resolution regarding the allocation of seats in ac cordance with the principle of geographical representation, Chirs being naturally selected to represent Asia.
Mr. Chao Hain-chu referred to the good feeling manifested by all the delegates at Geneva towards Mr. Wellington Kco. He described the delega. tion's efforts as re:ards opium and said China's reservation regarding the maintenance of a naval force sufficient to defend her long coast would be discussed at the international naval disamament conference to be summoned shortly by the Council of the League,
