COOLING THE CORONET.
AN INGENIOUS IDEA.
The Coronet management have hit | upon an ingenious plan for the cooling of their comfortable little theatre. A small refrigerating plant has been in- stalled in the basement and this will bo in operation for the first time to day. Cold air, cooled and cleaned by being passed through iced water will be circulated inside the building and the atmosphero inside the theatre will be gradually cooled until it is ten degrees lower than the temperature prevailing oatride.
In according the Chairman's resolu tion Mr. J. Oven Hughes said that nothing need be said sare again to congratulate the general managers, the aperintendent and all those who had - well served the Company for many years past.
The resolution having been carried, Mr. J. W. Burtwell proposed the re election as auditor of Mr. O. Bernard Brown at a remuneration of $500 per annum. Mr. W. Q. Shiner seconded and the resolution was carried.
The Chairman observed that that CoLcluded the business of the meeting and, in thanking the shareholders for their attendance, mentioned that dividend warrants were now ready.
