KINEMA NOTES.
***SOMEONE MUST FAY.”.
Şekiem, if ever, has jealousy as a theme for play been handled in such a straightforward manner as in Ivan Abramson's photo-drama "Someone Must Pay,” which is playing for the last time to-day at the World Thestrei | - The vivid plot of the story is brought | out with a baldness that compels immediate attention. The cast of Someone Must Pay includes Gail Kand - Edmund Breese, Jackie Saunders, Hugh Thompson, Jere Au- tin, Baby Dorothy Arnold and others.
AN EIGHTH WAVE" AT
THE CORONET.
Everybody who has lived near the sea knows about the "eighth wave," He has watched the breakers come rolling in, and noted how every DOW and then there comes along one foam- capped comber that dwaris the met. An "eighth wave, if the liberty may be taken of applying marine phenomena to the "movies," is ap proaching the Coronet to-day in the shape of "Man-Woman-Marriage' which is so stupendous an attraction that the management bare wisely decided to run it for a whole week at: the 5.15 and 9.15 sessions daily.
Ordinarily the Coronet programme maintains a consistently high standard but "Man-Woman-Marriage" will be found to be a picture so im measurably superior to the ordinary run of photoplays as to make the seeing of it an occasion to be marked,
it is said, with a white stone.
STRANDED.
4. Olaveson and T. Wilson, two unemployed Norwegian seamen, were charged before M. E. W. Hamilton at the Magistracy, this morning with being vagrants.
Insp. Caygill said the defendanta gave themselves up to the police last night. According to their own story they had deserted their skip on the 10th inst., the day before her depart- ure for Manija, and had been stranded hers ever since.
The Magistrate committed the de fendants to the house of detention.
