agreements necessary for world peace.

There would cost 16,500,000 and leave a surplus of £35,000,000.

Sir Robert Horne said that there were signs of revivalį is trade, but the burden of taxation checked enterprise. Ise Goverment did not ask the taxpayer this year zedeem any debt after the superhuman sorts of the last two years, and the Government was content to raise sufficient revenue to meet expenditure.

The floating debt had been reduced by £246,000,000 in 1921-2. As the result of a vigorous policy of reducing debt we had paid off £322,000,000 in cash during the past two years.
