EASTER SERVICES.
Hongkong observed Easter Bunday
in traditional manner yesterday, the Churches holding special services. At] St. John's Cathedral, the Bishop of Victoria. (the Rt. Rev. C. R. Duppoy, D. D.) preached in the morning and the Cathedral Chaplain (the Rev. H. Copley Moyle, M. A., in the evening, A Bower service for children was held in the evening.
At St. Andrew's Church (Kawloon), the Ficar, the Rev G. R. Lindsay and at the Union thurch the Rev. Kirk Maconachie conducted the servi ́es. Both churche were beautifully
decorated.
The Rev. H. Clousto: Porri cop ducted the services at the Wesleyan Church which was largely attended by sailors and soldiers.
Mr. J. Baxter, from reserve, has At St. Peter's Church, West Point, on gore chief engineer, "Cheklang." MrGood Friday Stainer's "Crucifixion," T. J. Diana chief engineer, and selections from the Messiah," "Chekiang," has gone chief engineer, were rendered by an augmented choir. "Hangchow."
