Hatton got away well from a poor! the three ponies came up the straight start and leading most of the way neck and beck, It was a close Rod made the pace a corker. Unable to exciting finish between Scamperdale keep it up Hatton dropped back near and Spotted Sand and Mr. Bell Irving the bend and Ajax took the lead with only just managed to get there by a Spotted Sand, who had been left short head. A. fortune of £46,000 which was bequeathed by the late Robert B.
