WORLD'S LARGEST FAMILY

ENORMOUS FOOD BILL

Dr. Barnardo's Homes are making their annual appeal for half-crown for the Founder'e Day Food Bill Fund in connection with their Anniversary celebrated on Saturday, June 25, at the Model Village for Girls, Barking- side, Essex.

The Barnardo family is the largest in the world, 7,200 children (of whom 1,091 are babies), and never was the food bill so enormous as now. All these healthy, growing children need food to turn them into A1. citizens.

In 1920, 332,455 half-crowns were collected, and as the needs are much greater this year the Homes hope that the public will be more generous than ever before. They are asking for

a modest half-crown but they want

a very large number.

Cheques and Orders may be made payable to Dr. Barnardo's Founder's Day Fund" and crossed, and sent to the Director, Rear-Admiral Sir Harry Stileman, 18 to 26, Stepney Causeway, London, E. 1.
