ROUT OF THE "GOBLINS.**

THE CHINA MAIL.
Twinkle stars for night nurseries are the diarming device invented by the father of two little children to drive away the fear of darkness.
Finding that his two little drugħttes were nervous at night and frightened by all the bogeys and goblins that beunt the shadowland of childhood, he thought of making luminous stars to
go on the ceiling.
Having cut out stars a few inches across out of wood, he painted them with luminous paint and mailed them to the ceiling above the children's cocs. The effect was almost magical. Because they were comforted by the friendly blue-whise glow of the stars
