The Palestine administration may contribute to the cost of the main tenance of the mandatory forces in Palestine. GENEVA, February 4. The twelfth meeting of the Council of the League of Nations is being -held at Geneva on February 21. The following nations will be represented: -France (M. Leon Bourgeois), Britain (Mr. Balfour or Mr. Fisher), Italy Marquis Iperiali), Japan (Viscount Ishii), and China (Mr. Wellington Koo), also Belgium, Brazil, and Spain. The business includes the appointment of
a mandates commission and five commissions to examine amendments to the Peace Treaty, economic blockade, opium trafic, stc. The council will stody the questions of the Sarre Basin, Damig, and disarmament, and receive documents with regard to mandates and other questions.
