I was very pleased with the result of the writing competition. The two prizes were wan by Arthur While (aged 7) and Wan Tso Shing laged 12). They wrote about a parrot and a dog, as you will read for yourselves, Both were very neatly written and well spelt.
I must also mention Elsa Batalha, Jean Dalziel "niid Clive White, who sent in very good papers,and these I will publish next week. Olive White is a young contributor as she is only four years old.

So Jack lifted the box down and they took it out of the cupboard and put it on the floor under the skylight where they could see better;
