The latest Bolshevik communique claims that their cavalry is advancing in the Crimea on a wide front. The enemy is retreating in disorder and blowing up military stores and burning food. Red troops captured a large amount of military supplies, including three armoured trains.
80,000 REFUGEES.
CONSTANTINOPLE, November 12. Eighty-thousand refugees in the Crimea are asking for transportation abroad, hut transport is limited and it will probably be impossible to erbark more than 20,000. The first refugees arrived at Constantivo ple this afternoon, but were not permitted to land owing to congestion of housing and scarcity of food. Their plight is very grave and it is hoped that France will come to their assistance and offer them asylum at Algiers. GENERAL TOWNSHEND ASKED TO TAKE COMMAND.
