1 is with deep regret that we have to record the death of Mr. F. H. Thomas, one of the serior members of the staff of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, who died at his residence, very suddenly early this morning.

Mr. Thomas first came East to join the staff of the Bank in Bombay in 1900.
