New York mail advices say -The bids for the conversion and recordi tioning of the Leviathan will be opened on May 15th. The plans and specifications for the job,, draws up by a corps of experts, with Mr. W. F. Gibbs, chief of the construction department of the International Mercantile Marine Company, direc ting the work, have been declared to be the most complete and remarkable aver compiled.
