TWO KILLED: THREE HURT.

The heavy rain last night had the disastrous effect of causing a fatal länd slide on the hill side off St. John's Cathedral abis afternoon. It appears that whilst some workmen were en- gaged in curting the hill in connection with the erection of a Sunday School Hall at about 1.30 p.m. a large rock became loosened and rolled down the hill crushing two mès who were killed Some earth came down and this buried three other men.
