OUTCOME OF THE BOYCOTT.
The Shachsing correspondent of the N.C. Daily News says he was shown. -over the umbrella factory, an outcoine of the Japanese boycott, by one of the directors. The concern is only in its infancy. The premises. situated near the Government-5th Middle School, are rented at a nominal sum of $60 year and are large enough to allow of great development. There are four hand looms for weaving cloth for um- brella covers the black cotton is int- ported from Kiangsu), two joiners making handles and sticks and Svej snitts making umbrella There is also a foreman.
Framics.
