One of the most amazing things in athletic science is the quickness with which physical fitness vanishes.

The remedy is to be found in the development of the muscles of the back and abdomen, which should supe port the figure in an upright pose whether the man is standing up of sitting down, and to get as much brisk exercise in the open air as is possible to ensure the deep breathing which clears and expands the lungs.
