AND THE RATE OF EXCHANGE.
As regards the effects on imports due to depreciation of foreign car- rency, it is provided in the, Govern- ment's. Bill for the regulations of in-

In determining the issue of a licence consideration will be given to any anempt at combination or restric-| tion of the conditions affecting outpur in this country in order artificially to raise prices, and the Board of Trade
