Our Price Lists have now been published and these may

What is needed is the payment of a living wage to these girls.. Ka man takes out a company of young | women; and la: not prepared, to pay a living wage, he lays - himself open to the accusation of conniving, at immorality for his own direct or indirect financial gain,

There are still more flagrant casa-though happily they are be- coming rarer every season--where, as stated in the Actor, the so-called managers are really, procurers. Our great "difficulty; however, is to get those girls who could give the necessary evidence in such cases to come forward.

But if a living wage were com- pulsory, and if the manager had also to get a licence, sufficiently stringent in its conditions, all such abuses would disappear at once."

BABY'S WEIGHT.

One of the surest signs that a baby is making good progress is steady in- crease in weight. There is generally & slight decrease during the first week after birth, but from then on there should be regular and rapid growth if the baby is being properly nourished.

The most common code of failure.

to gain weight is mal-astrition, the food is either cefcient in quality or quantity, or the digestive organs are not doing their work properly.

When the stomach or bowels are al fault all that is necessary, parally, to set matters right is the administration of Baby's Own Tablets, the pleasant-tasting Canadian remedy for little ones of sil ages. No fear red be entertained as to the wisdom of giving these Tablets, because they are guaranteed. under & Government Analyst's certilente, to contain not a single particle of opiata. narcotic, or other injurious drug, and to be equally helpful and harmless to the youngest infant as to the child of 8 years old or more,

Baby's Own Tablets are just the right remedy for infantile constipation, colic, indigestion, diart hos, simple fever, teething troubles and worms. They hring natural, restful, health-promoting aleep, restore appetite sad make the baby thrive. Of chemists, or post free, 60 centa the vial, from the Dr. Williams Medicine Co, 98 Szechuan Road, Shang- bai.
