BULGAR INSOLENCE.

AMAZING PEACE CLAIMS.

Reuter's Agency learns that the first Note, recently presented by the Bulgarian delegation to the Peace Conference, in which Macedonia, the Dobrudja, and Thrace were claimed as Bulgarian provinces, has aroused considerable indignation in Serbian circles in London. Amazement is expressed that Bulgaria, who, after fighting through the war against the Allies, was finally beaten, should now make claims instead of offering re- paration,

According to a telegram from Salonika dated August 10, the Bul- garian comitadji Natzeff, who has been working in collaboration with the Young Turks, has been appointed by the Bulgarian Government Pre- fect of the district of Strumnitra, and with the help of bands of irregulars is terrorising the peaceful Greek, po- pulation. One of these bands, forty strong, it is added, has crossed the Serbian frontier near the village of Mirafta.
