Sir, I see from the report of the meeting at Government House yester day, that the University has mede- arrangements to bring out new men from Home. Will one of our repre- sentatives on the Legislative Council enquire whether the Government has made arrangements to bring out new men for the schools, to release the married ladies who have done. such good work during the war? It is nearly a year since the war ended, and this war measure should surely now be discontinued. Those ladies who have husbands to support them, would willingly make room for others who have to earn their own living.
