The anti-Japanese boycott move- ment in China seems to have extend- ed to Japanese matches along the Yantse, as a result of which Japanese shippers have already re- ceived advices regarding the post ponement of shipment until further notice. It is, however, hoped in the quarters concerned that this is only a temporary phenomenon, which will soon disappear. The price of safety matches has increased to Y53 or 154 owing to the continued de mand from Fermosa, Java, Singapore
