How ever, so well did Allan and Hall bowl, and the rest of the team field, that the whole team was dismissed. for 42 runs. Allan took 6 and Hall 4 wickets.
Civil Service had an easy win over the Royal Navy, Ling and Bird bow. ling with deadly effect. The R.GA. piled up a big score against Craigen- gower before declaring "and then won easily. The CR.C. did the same, scoring 143 and then disposing of the Royal Engineers for the small total of 48.
