HONGKONG TIDES.
The tide table given below has been compiled at the National Almanac Office In London from the result of the analysis of abnerestions taken by means of var automatic tide-recording machine in the Water Police Basin at Taim Bha Traj during the years 1995-8
The zero of the table corresponds with the zero of the sounding in the Admiralty Chart, which has been found to be 4 feet 2 inches below mean sea-level
To obtain the depth of water, on the tide gauge at the Victoria Naval Yard add a foot 4 inches, and on the gauge at Lamont Dock, Aberdeen, add 10 feet 4 inches to the height given in the table.
