HONGKONG TIDES.
The tide table iven below has been compiled at the National Almanac Offic in London from the result of the analysis of observations taken by means of ant automaatia tide-recording machine in the Water Police Essin at Taim Sha Tony 'during the years 1903-9.
The zero of the table corresponds with the zero of the sounding in the Admiralty Chart, which has been found to be feet
1 inches bolow mean sea-level,
To obtain the depth of water on the tide gauge at the Victoria Naval Yard add a fost 4 inches, and on the gauge at Lamont Dock, Aberdeen, add 10 feet ieches to the height given in the tabia October 9th to 10th, 1918
