(Continued from Page 5.),. THE GREAT BATTLE. LOCAL FIGHTING IN ISOLATED BECTORS.
WHERE WILL ENEMY AGAIN ATTACK!
•
LONDON, June 7. The battle news yesterday makes it clear that the second phase of the grand German offensive has ended. The great attacks on the Noyon and Rheims line, which began on May 27, bare been replaced by focal fghting in isolated sectors in which the Germans have been far from gaining, fresh ground. They have lost soma, and for at least two days their general advance has been brought to a standstill.
