HONGKONG TIDES.

The tide-table KTV below has been compiled at the National Almanac Office in London from the result of the analysis of observations taken by means of an automatin tide-recording machine in the Water Police Basin at Isim Sha Tani during the years 1903-92

The zero of the table corresponds with the zero of the sounding in the Admiralty. Chart, which has been found to be & Boot #inches below mean sea-level.

To obtain the depth of water on the tide gauge at the Victoria Navel Yard add 2 foot 4 inches, and on the gauge at Lamont Dock, Aberdeen, add 10 feet 4inches to the height given in the table. May 16th to 22nd, 1918,
