Reuter's Correspondent at Head- quarters writing on Wednesday night says: The Canadian raid in the snow this morning is interesting because the assailants were in proper battle' order, the Germans expecting an attack. Their resistance was a fair measure of their powers of defence, The ground was virgin soil; it had not been fought over since October 1914.
