A case which has been many times postponed, says the Singapore Free Preas, at length came before the senior magis trate, Mr W Langham Carter, on the 11th inst when sixteen charges were preferred against Mc Kenneth A. Stovens manager in Singapore for Messrs Cald- beck, Macgregor and Co.. These were sa to being in possession of intoxicating liquors contrary to the provisions of section 24 (2) of the Liquor Revenue Ordinance, and the delivery of false or incorrect requisitions relating to the importation of these liquors.
