NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Company within pursuance of the power reserved to it by Clause of the conditions endorsed on the above în aeries. redeem the debentures the mumbers of which are set, out underneath at the axpiration of six months from the data of this motico, that is to say on the First day of August 1916 at which date all principal and interest will be paid on presentation and surrender of the debentures in question as the Company's Bankers, the HONGKONG AND SHANGHAI BANKING CORPORATION: The holders of such debentures are requested to present such debentures for payment accordingly, together with all coupons attached thereto to the HONGKONG AND SHANGHAI BANKING CORPORATION on the 1st day of August 1916 for payment.

The Toyo Kisen Kaisha's sa Nippon Maru which sailed from San Fran- cisco on the 24th. Jane, via Hong- lulu, and Japan Ports, left Shang- hai on asth inst, and is expected to arrive at this port on Friday, the 28th instant, at 7am. The Toyo Kisen Kaisha's ss. Shenyo!
Maru arrived at Yokobama on the Sith Jane, and left there for Hongkong, where she is due on the the 26th idem.
Other Vessels. The Toyo Kisen Kaisha's 6s. Dairen Maru arrived at Yokohama on Tuesday, the 18th inst. and left there for San Francisco, where she is due on 27th July.
The s. 5. Santhia from Calcutta, left Singapore on the 21st inst., .m. and may be expected here on or about the 27th inst.
The Australian Oriental Line sa Tai- yuan from Australia is dus bere on the 4th or 5th August.
