Hongkong,
28th June, 1916." DEAR SIR-I attach for the favour of publication copies of a letter and enclosure dealing with the Lady Roberta Field Glass Fund. The abnormal demand, and the special difficulties in the way of production, made the shortage of suitable glasses severely felt from the beginning of the War and the wear and tear at the Front render it always more difficult to make good the shortage.
Glasses can, of course, be sent direct to the Manager of the Fund in London: but the War Charities: Committes is prepared to receive and forward them if
should be sent to the Honorary Secre tary, War Charities Committee, Fost Office Buildings."

Yours faithfully,
