While returning from a reconnaissance of the ensmý line it encountered two Taubes Bound for Salonike, and though armed with only one rifle the Frenchman fearless'y attacked, the Germans replying with a machias-gun, Anti-aircraft gans below opened fire on the enemy, but the French soroplane was damaged and compelled to alight the pilot being wounded.
