The Admiralty state with regard to Submarine U20, the sinking of which was announced on March 25, that she was sunk by a British wer vessel.

LONDON, June 19, 12.30 p.m.
A telegram from Rome states that the Italians are methodically continuing the demolition of Halborghetto. The Austrian artillery re-attempted to reply but was silenced.
A report from Headquarters states that the struggle on the Isonzo, especially at Plavo, is assuming great importance and that the Italian success is daily becoming clearer.
A naval battery which joined in the fighting at Daing, was most effective.
Italian dirigibles bave also had gratifying military successes, tearing up railways and destroying stations. All returned safely.
400,000 GERMAN TROOPS MOVED FROM BAST TO WEST FRONT.
LONDON, June 19, 10.40 p.m.
It is stated in Rotterdam that during the past nine days, near the Belgo Dutch Frontier, 100,000 German First Line troops, from the Eastern front, bave passed through Belgium with the object of meeting the French pressure. A huge mass of artillery was also collected, including 200 Leavy guns, at Courtrai. During the last three days 100,000 of the men, who had been kept in reserve, were harried to the trencbes at La Basses and Ypres in coste- ! quence of the surprise British-attack, which completely smashed the enemy's plans.

The clear American Note, has produced a deep impression in Germany. The newspapers suggest that great concessions should be made, but denounce the Lokalanzeiger, which declared that England did not really wish to starve millions of Germans, but only to compel them to surrender. The Cologne Gazette
says that America could only give the Entente Powers money and unitions of war, but Germany does not wish for a ninth or tooth enemy.
