Dec. 20, 1.30 p.m. "Beuter's Washington correspondent learns that the United States Government has sent a long Note to Great Britain insisting on an early improvement in the treatment of American commufee by the British feet and warning the British Government that much feeling has been ironed by unwarranted interference with trade. The United States Government foela compelled to ask for definite information of Great Britain's attitude in order to protect the rights of American citizens.
