Ms. Sophia Fanny Gabrielle Wallet Colley, the wild of Captain Culley, and daoghter in law of Archdeacon Culley, was last month awarded £600 damages in an action for libel brought by her against Modern Society (1911) (Limited) pro- prietors of a weekly sewspaper known as Madera Society, ud J. Mr. Marshall Hall in opening the case for the plaintiff, eaid that in 1912 his client brought petition against her husband for restitution of conjugal rights.
