VISIT TO A ZARD HOTEL. Countess Millicent Florence Eleanor Cowley, formerly Lady Hartopp, has been grapted a decree nid in her petition for divorce against her husband, Heary Arthur Mornington Wellesley, Earl Cowley, on the ground of his statutory desertion and bis unisconduct. The petition, which was. undefender, was heard by Sir Samuel Evans, President of the Diverce Divisien.
Mr. Barnard, K.C., and Mr. T. Bucknall (instructed by Messrs. Lewis and Lewis) appeared for the petitioner.
Mr. Barnard, opening the awe, said that the parties after the marriage lived hap pily together and there had been one child. of the marriage. In November Inst Karl Cowley left his wife and went to Paris, and it was subsequently ascertained that he
