LONDON.
Bir. Takahashi Nakamura, who has been Consul General for Japan in Canada for four years, has been appointed to the cor responding post in London. He will leave for England at once.
'Mr. Nakamura's promotion is regarded as recognition of the success of the pegotia tions with the Canadian Government for a treaty, the first to be concluded based on the Anglo-Japanese Treaty of 1911.
